Hi friends! Welcome to Issue 4 of my newsletter! It’s the last one for 2025, and I can hardly believe it! I hope everyone is staying warm and enjoying some quality time with friends and loved ones this time of year ☕︎
New Coloring Page!
To kick things off, this month’s coloring page is based on a piece I recently drew called “A Ripple in Time,” now available in my store on INPRNT! You can download a PDF below! As usual, send me a picture after coloring it, and YOU can be featured in the Tiny Gallery! I love this little gallery that we’re building together, thank you to anyone who has participated so far ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Fun Fact #1 – A Ripple in Time
The phrase “a ripple in time,” often refers to the idea that small changes can lead to significant and unpredictable outcomes! It’s like the butterfly effect in chaos theory, which describes how a small change in a complex system can have large impacts somewhere else. It’s also a phrase used in physics to describe gravitational waves – ripples in the fabric of spacetime caused by the acceleration of massive objects such as colliding black holes, supernovas, or when two big stars orbit each other. They were first predicted by Albert Einstein in 1916, but were first observed directly on September 14th of 2015 by LIGO (The Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory) when two colliding black holes were detected 1.3 billion light-years away!
Dang… those must be some pretty big rabbits!

And in fact? THEY ARE! THEY ARE SOME PRETTY BIG RABBITS!! The largest size this print is available in is a whooping 24″ x 24″ fine art print! It’s probably largest scale print size I currently have available at the moment! Here are some closeup shots:

Fun Fact #2 – Jackalopes

Speaking of big rabbits and outerspace, “Galactic Jackalope” is also now available at my store! I had so much fun making this one, and enjoyed getting wrapped up in all the trippy patterns.
But what are the origins of this strange creature? Where did it come from? In the 1930s, a man named Doug and his brother Ralph popularized this mythical animal by grafting deer antlers onto a jackrabbit carcass. Why?
You see, this was before AI. It was a different time ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و Sometimes people got bored, and they had to make stuff up to feel alive! Kind of like today! But a little differently, they had to rely on their imaginations, their skills, the tools at their disposal… and sometimes, even taxidermy! The original deepfake, if you will!
Ahhh… simpler times….
Doug and Ralph Herrick sold their creation to a hotel in Douglas Wyoming and continued to churn out their newly invented beast to other establishments such as bars, retail outlets, and other tourist destinations. And thus, the Jackalope was born . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁

In a similar spirit, I don’t use AI. I relied on my craft to recreate the Herrick brother’s creature in a faraway world! Here are some closeup shots! I hope you like them!

Fun Fact #3 – Tempo
You’ll find another new arrival in my shop titled “Adagio,” which is an Italian word that means “slowly” or “leisurely,” and is often used to describe a slow and expressive tempo in music. I drew this piece on vacation, while moving at a slow and leisurely pace myself hehe •ᴗ• Ana Botia Ferrer does a great job depicting an adagio tempo in her stop motion featuring Lego Superman, which you can find here. Songs that have an adagio tempo typically range from 66 to 76 BPM (beats per minute). It’s a bit faster than largo tempo (40 to 60 BPM) and a bit slower than adante tempo (usually between 72 to 108 BPM). Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata is a famous example of a song with an adagio tempo!
